EMS Data Entry for Quality Improvement

Objective:

• To support EMS quality improvement reporting by entering emergency medical data into REDCap.

Methods:

• Entered ePCRs/ACRs and defibrillator data into REDCap

• Ensured accuracy and integrity of sensitive patient data

• Investigated discrepancies and maintained documentation

Outcomes:

• Contributed to regional EMS reporting and quality initiatives

• Strengthened REDCap proficiency and attention to detail

• Reinforced commitment to data confidentiality and ethics

Reflection:

• This project taught me how precision and integrity in data handling directly impact patient care and system performance.
